Prof. Buchanan Named CAS Associate for 2017-2018

Donna A. Buchanan (Associate Professor of Music and Anthropology) has been named a 2017-18 Faculty Associate of the Center for Advanced Study in conjunction with her book project, "Audible Cosmology: Engendered Bells in Bulgarian Belief." 


Congratulations to Illinois musicology doctoral candidate Thornton Miller, who has been awarded a Fulbright IIE Fellowship to conduct research in St. Petersburg and Moscow for the 2017-18 academic year.
