Illinois Music piano professors Rochelle Sennet and Chi-Chen Wu guided students at Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago with real-time piano instruction during a masterclass using the technology of the Yamaha Disklavier DCFX concert grand piano.

Illinois Harp Studio alumna Mary Duplantier and graduate student Jonathan Schneider have won principal harp auditions this fall! Duplantier (BMus 2020) won both the Akron Symphony Orchestra in Ohio and Peoria Symphony Orchestra in Illinois auditions. Schneider won the Jackson Symphony Orchestra audition in Michigan.

Pianist Esther Lee has been named the Krannert Debut Artist for 2023.
