About Maureen V. Reagan
Bio
Maureen Reagan is Associate Director for Marketing at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, responsible for fostering the work of a multifaceted team including staff members in campus and community engagement, food services, front of house services, ticket services, and communications including advertising, publicity, and design. Since joining the Center in 1987, Reagan has combined professional and scholarly pursuits while working in positions of continually increasing responsibility and scope.
Reagan’s recent research explores performance history, including archival research, digitization, crowdsourcing, and cross-Atlantic musical influence. Her dissertation examined the history of the University of Illinois British Brass Band, 1981-2011. Reagan currently co-leads the Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK)-funded project “The Internet of Musical Events: Digital Scholarship, Community, and the Archiving of Performance” and serves as advisor for DMA students seeking a cognate in performing arts administration.
