Illinois Music Academy
The Academy offers a variety of private, group, and intensive chamber music instruction as well as theory and musicianship classes for students of all ages. Taught by an engaging team of graduate and postdoctoral instructors, including special sessions led by School of Music faculty members and professors. See below for this semester's course offerings.
Pre-college chamber music program for Jr. and High School instrumentalists.
Offering private and group instruction for the violin, viola and cello.
Open to all ages. Beginners may enroll as young as 4 or 5.
Theory / Musicianship and Composition Classes for Youth
Open to youth, age 10-18 (with exceptions based on instructor consent).
Young Strings on the Move! - The Paul Rolland String Camp
Summer day camp for violin/viola/cello students age 5-12.
