Rob Schwimmer is one of the world's greatest proponents of the Haken Continuum Fingerboard, invented by UI Electrical Engineering faculty member Lippold Haken. Mr. Schwimmer will travel from New York City to perform in this final event of the Math Department's "Four Color Fest", in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the proof of the Four Color Theorem by Ken Appel and Wolfgang Haken. Rob Schwimmer will be joined by UI music faculty, musicians, and dancers in an evening of improvisation and musical storytelling.
