Proficiency Exams for Piano, Music Theory, and Musicianship

Music Theory and Musicianship Exams are for new and transfer students only. If you have already taken the exams or have begun the theory or musicianship sequence, you are no longer eligible to take the exam.

Student Forms – Quick Links

• Course Override Form—To be used only for MUS and MUSC courses; closes after online registration ends.
• Late Course Change Form—To be used to request a course registration change after online registration has ended.
• Credit Overload Petition — To request permission to enroll in more than 18 credit hours. This form cannot be used by first-semester freshmen.
