Prof. Barry L. Houser, Director of the Marching Illini, Associate Director of Bands, and Chair of the Conducting Area, has received an Honorable Mention in the 2026 Student Success Impact Awards. The Student Success Impact Award recognizes faculty and staff who have made a lasting difference in the lives of Illinois students. This award is given to those who were mentioned 10 or more times in the Chancellor’s Senior Survey.
