Lyric Theatre @ Illinois students Frida Guerra, Bridget Ravenscraft, Nathan Tilton, and William Murphy, along with Professor Scott MacLeod, spent a week in Costa Rica touring Lyrics of Love and Friendship (Poesías de Amor y de Amistad), a musical showcase of scenes from popular operas and musicals.

Their trip was hosted by the Centro Cultural Costarricense/Norteamericano “Promising Young Artists” program and sponsored by the U.S. Embassy. The itinerary included a public performance at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in San José, outreach and engagement in Tarrazú, and a Valentines Day performance in the Central Park of Dota.
