Lyric Theatre’s earns third place in Opera Production Competition
The School of Music proudly celebrates Lyric Theatre’s production of L’Orfeo for earning third place nationally in Division VII of the National Opera Association’s Opera Production Competition for the 2024-2025 cycle. This national recognition highlights the exceptional artistry, collaboration, and dedication of our students, faculty, and production team. There were 99 applicants, and 28 were selected in varying divisions according to the budget and size of the production.
This is very exciting news for the School of Music’s Lyric Theatre program and gives the program national recognition. Bravo to everyone involved in bringing L’Orfeo to life!
