2025 DMA in flute graduate Peiyao Cheng was recently offered a tenure track position at the acclaimed Tianjin Conservatory of Music in Tianjin, China. As one of China’s oldest Bachelors and Masters degree conferring music schools, the Tianjin Conservatory is widely considered one of China’s finest training grounds for young musicians. At the University of Illinois, she was a student of Dr. Jonathan Keeble. Congratulations to Pei and Dr. Keeble!
