Brynna Paros, DMA Flute, Joins East Tennessee State University Faculty
Brynna Paros (DMA Flute, 2025), recently accepted an offer as a tenure track Assistant Professor of Flute at East Tennessee State University. In this capacity, Brynna will oversee all components of the program's flute instructional and performance activities. In addition to her position at ETSU, Brynna recently defended her doctoral final degree project -- an interdisciplinary, clinical study of the impacts of program notes to the music listening experience. Working with University of Illinois Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Program in Neuroscience, Kara Federmeier, Brynna's project demonstrates the power of music education, musical familiarity, and their relationship to the concert-going experience. The School of Music sends congratulations to Brynna for her new position and exceptional work!
