Lydia Armour

Lydia Armour is approaching her second year at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for her master’s in music education. Prior to attending UIUC, Lydia served two years as the district band director for the Pana School District in Pana, IL. Lydia was called home to serve two years as the district band and choir director for her alma mater, the Carlinville School District in Carlinville, IL. Before beginning her career, Lydia earned her bachelor’s in music education from Illinois State University in 2019. She is a former ISYM attendee and is looking forward to making new memories as the Junior Band assistant this summer!
