Please note that there is no pre-screening requirement for application to any undergraduate degree program. If your program requires a portfolio, or if you would like to submit a recorded audition in lieu of a live audition, please use the link below to upload your materials.

Submission Deadlines for the 2024-2025 Application Cycle:

Fall 2025 – Undergraduate First-Year Deadlines:

  • November 1 – Early-action applicants: Portfolio materials (CS + Music, Composition, Music Tech, Musicology, Music + majors only)
  • November 1 – Early-action applicants: Audition recordings for all instruments/voice (BM, BME, BMA majors only)
  • January 10 – First-year applicants: Portfolio materials (CS + Music, Composition, Music Tech, Musicology, Music + majors only)
  • January 10 – First-year applicants: Audition recordings for all instruments/voice (BM, BME, BMA majors only)

 

Spring 2025/Fall 2025 – Undergraduate Transfer Deadlines:

  • November 1 – Spring transfer applicants: Portfolio materials (CS + Music, Composition, Music Tech, Musicology, Music + majors only)
  • November 1 – Spring transfer applicants: Audition recordings for all instruments/voice (BM, BME, BMA majors only)
  • TBA – Fall Transfer applicants: Deadline to submit a portfolio (CS+Music, Musicology, Music Technology, Composition, BA Music + majors only)
  • TBA – Fall Transfer applicants: Audition recordings for all instruments/voice (BM, BME, BMA majors only)

Upload Instructions for Audition Recordings and Portfolio Materials

Each file must be labeled with the applicant’s last and first name and the submission type. Example: “Smith, John_Portfolio” or “Smith, John_Audition Piece 1”

 

All uploaded items must be in standard text/image/audio/video formats. Examples of valid formats include (but are not necessarily limited to) doc, docx, txt, rtf, pdf, jpg, png, mp3, aiff, wav, mov, and mp4.
