FRESH APPLES is comprised of duo Peter (Doc) Rolland & Meryl Brown, who have shared their vocal harmonies and fiddle, mandolin, and guitar playing with audiences to wide acclaim. Rolland and Brown perform an eclectic mix of originals and fresh arrangements of traditional folk and country, bluegrass, humorous, and old-time music. FRESH APPLES performances have been described as “fun, fresh, charming, and skilled!” Doc Rolland is a nine-time international touring musician and three-time national fiddle champion. Meryl Brown is a songwriter and the “techy” of the group, handling website management, recording, and other aspects. FRESH APPLES is known for their toe-tapping, feel-good music and engaging performances. They have performed at various events, including the Desert Bluegrass Festival.
