The U of I Black Chorus has been invited to perform at the Annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival. 

Their performance will be on June 2 at 6:00PM in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park.

Justin Copeland Wins First Place Prize in the National Trumpet Competition (NTC) Jazz Division

Justin Copeland (DMA, Jazz Trumpet) placed first in the Yamaha Jazz Solo Division of the 2017 National Trumpet Competition. The competition took place at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado on March 23-25.
