Alumnus Zhen Piao (AD, MM '17) has won First Prize in the Lynnwood Farnam Organ Competition. The international competition, sponsored by the Montreal Chapter of the Royal Canadian College of Organists, took place at May 18th at St. James United Church in Montreal.

Rocio Lima was recently appointed Principal Flute with Ecuador's Orquesta Sinfónica de Guayaquil. An Ecuadorian native, Rocio completed her Master of Music at the University of Illinois with Professor of Flute Jonathan Keeble where she currently studies as a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate.
