School of Music Convocation Speaker Announced

School of Music alumnus Mark Rabideau will deliver the School’s convocation address on May 14, in the ceremony that begins at 5:30pm in Smith Memorial Hall. 

Dr. Rabideau is the Director of the 21st-century Musician Initiative at the DePauw University School of Music and the author of the forthcoming book, The 21CM Introduction to Music Entrepreneurship.

He received his Bachelor of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Illinois.

The special music will be performed by the University of Illinois Chamber Singers, and Executive Assistant Dean Paul Redman will serve as representative of the College of FAA. The School of Music Convocation is not a ticketed event and the public is welcome to attend.
