Music Faculty Member and Graduate Student Awarded Humanities Without Walls Grant

Michael Silvers, Assistant Professor of Music, and musicology graduate student Tara Hatfield have won a Humanities Without Walls grant for their project "Field to Media: Applied Musicology for a Changing Climate."

The Humanities Without Walls Research Challenge poses a new research challenge subject each year, and grants are awarded to faculty and students interested in pursuing collaborative research topics related to the challenge. The goal of the foundation is to fund research endeavours between fifteen institutions across the Midwest.
