Black Chorus to Perform at Annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival
The U of I Black Chorus has been invited to perform at the Annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival.
Their performance will be on June 2 at 6:00PM in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park.
The Festival celebrates the music style’s deep Chicago roots with traditional choirs and contemporary urban gospel music. This year's event spans two days with performances in both the Chicago Cultural Center and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park.
The free admission festival features local and national artists including headliners The Rance Allen Group, Jonathan McReynolds with special guests Anthony Brown & Travis Greene, VaShawn Mitchell, Malcolm Williams & Great Faith, and a Tribute to Jessy Dixon.
