The Illinois String Academy is commited to providing the highest quality private and group instruction to the C-U community at affordable rates.
Donations using this form are accepted through the University of Illinois Foundation. Contributions are deductible for federal income tax purposes in accordance with applicable law.

Students of any background are encouraged to apply and previous experience is not required.
Any information provided on the Illinois String Academy Financial Aid Application is confidential and will not affect your eligibility to participate in the program. A committee of ISA and School of Music staff will review all applications. Please note that financial awards are limited and will be awarded based on demonstrated financial need. While we don’t require proof of family income, we encourage all applicants to provide as much information as possible to receive full consideration.
Eligibility:
- New or continuing students from greater Champaign-Urbana community
- Age 17 or younger at time of enrollment

- January 7: Application Deadline
- January 15: notification to families
- January 17: instruction begins
