Illinois Brass Day

Illinois Brass Day for 2020 was held on February 22.

Ron Romm teachingIllinois Brass Day offers a full day of brass-centered activities for serious high school and collegiate brass musicians. Participate or observe master classes for your instrument and all participants are encouraged to bring their instrument and play in the ensembles. 

Eligibility 

All brass players currently in high school or college are welcome to participate. 

Advanced middle school students are also welcome to apply, contact us at chasanov@illinois.edu for details.

Offerings

• Apply to perform a solo in a master class for your instrument.

• All participants are invited to participate in like-instrument ensembles and massed brass ensemble conducted by Prof. Donald Schleicher.

• Music teachers are invited to audit Brass Day free of charge.
